In a related story, one entertainment personality is reportedly having difficulty getting proper immigration status to take over for CNN’s Larry King.

Last week the Wall Street Journal’s Law Blog focused on the nonsensical approach that the immigration agency takes towards entertainers (i.e. bands, actors, and musicians, among others). The blog post emphasized the need to maintain open access into the United States for entertainers.

To demonstrate the government’s rigid thinking, the blog post focused on a band that was applying for P-1 visas as culturally unique entertainers. Unfortunately, the immigration agency didn’t think that the band could be “culturally unique” because they specialized in fusing Jewish Klezmer music with tango.

What is more unique than the tango mixed with Jewish Klemer music?
