Without warning and effective immediately, the USCIS has changed the naturalization procedure by changing where the application must be filed. Although the change is not overly significant (if an applicant knows of the change), the change is indicative of many other changes that the immigration agency has made recently without much advanced notice. Although these changes may not seem significant, the USCIS should realize that the consequences can be great for individual applicants when a minor procedural change is made without advanced notice.
