Dozens Partake in Hunger Strike to Protest Lack Of Comprehensive Immigration Reform

Dozens of protesters in the city are going without food for three days to protest the federal government’s inaction in addressing immigration reform. Some protesters are threatening to strike until Senator Schumer, chairman of the Senate Immigration subcommittee addresses their concerns.

Another protester, Oswaldo Cabrera, has been on a hunger strike since last month. Protesting in New Jersey , he seeks support for the 5 million American children of undocumented parents.
