Why the delays? Today, the Government is implementing new documentation rules for US CITIZENS entering into the United States by land. These rules, which have been delayed multiple times, require US Citizens entering the United States to present a passport, passport card, NEXUS, SENTRI or FAST card, or an enhanced driver’s license.
Although the Government has attempted to alert travelers to the changes, it remains to be seen how many got the message – or realized the date.
