Two of the smartest business men in America addressed Congress’ House Judiciary Immigration Subcommittee last week about the need to fix the immigration system. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg began his testimony by stating, “Our broken system of immigration is undermining our economy, slowing our recovery, and hurting millions of Americans.” Rupert Murdoch stated, “As an immigrant, I chose to live in America because it is one of the freest and most vibrant nations in the world. And as an immigrant, I feel an obligation to speak up for immigration policies that will keep America the most economically robust, creative and freedom-loving nation in the world.”
These two self made men know that actions speak louder than words and that immigration reform is needed ASAP. Now if Congress would only act, and act wisely.
